MISSY GIRL: NINI SUM
MISSY GIRL is our periodic feature of a sassy lass that echoes the spirit of MISSY SKINS. She's modern and thrives off the pulse of big cities. She's a rebel and a free spirit. She's spicy and sweet.
Hailed as a new vision of Chinese street art by Dazed and Confused, Nini Sum is an established artist working with media such as screen printing, illustration and oil painting. Having founded Idle Beats, the first independent screen printing studio in China with partner Gregor Koerting, the Nanjing-native’s artistic style spans surrealism all the way to pop. She has received worldwide acclaim for her talent and diverse style, exhibiting locally and in cities such as Hong Kong, Sydney, Antwerp and Amsterdam.
Nini’s uniform of pared back black jeans and a t-shirt means she never strays far in the style stakes. Here she rocks a couple of our black pieces from The Lovers range – easy pieces with subtle details that add just a little something…
